Dear patients,
We wish to say Thank You, to all our lovely patients for the continued support this year. The team and I are grateful for your kind words and support during the year. As per usual, we will be closed for our annual break from Saturday, 23rd December 2023 to Sunday, 7th January 2023. Our first day back is, Monday, 8th January 2024.
We understand another year is coming to an end and time has gotten away from most of us. There is a limited amount of minutes and hours that we are able to provide the standard of care you have been accustomed to. I would appreciate that you remain patient and kind towards us if we are not able to fit you in for an appointment by the end of the year.
If you would like to make an appointment and we are not able to answer your call especially over the festive season, please leave us a voice message with your name and contact details when you call. We will get back to you as soon as we can. Have a safe festive season ahead and we look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Dental Above (formerly Balwyn North Dental Care) has been in service in the Balwyn North community for over 20 years.
At Dental Above, we are committed to providing the most comfortable and attentive dental experience for our patients. We strive to build awareness of good oral health and prevention with our patients, and together, we can achieve the best outcome for your oral health. We make the effort to remain at the forefront of our profession by attending conferences and courses. Why we are not Preferred providers
As a small practice, we believe in providing our patients the best treatment and advice, free from any potential conflict of interest.
Preferred providers are contracted dentists who provide treatment at an agreed fee with the private health fund. The private health funds in turn ‘recommend’ the preferred provider dentists to their policyholders.
This is purely a financial agreement between dentist and the private health fund that allows a dentist to obtain more patients whilst the health fund can pay less in benefits to their customer as fees are pre-determined by the health fund.
The title of preferred provider is not an indication of quality of services as there are no prerequisites in obtaining this status.
Payment Policy
It is the policy of the practice to receive full payment for treatment on the day it is provided. We accept cash, Mastercard and Visa. EFTPOS & HICAPS facilities are available to help you process full payment for treatment on the day it is provided. We accept no responsibility for eligibility or amount of health fund rebate received by our patients.
